Andreas Haubjerg (b. 1992) is a freelance documentary photographer and film maker based in Copenhagen, Denmark. He has a BA in Photojournalism from The Danish School of Media and Journalism. As part of his education, he underwent an 18-month internship as a photographer at the Danish daily, Politiken.
Through in-depth documentary photography and film making his work focuses on personal stories about human rights, social injustice, identity and mens role in society.
Having spent years working on stories about at-risk children and teenagers, he works with ethical considerations at the forefront of his mind.
Andreas Haubjerg is a part time teacher in short form documentary at Danish School of Media and Journalism and is regularly giving talks and guest teaching at various photo schools like Grundtvigs Højskole and Engelsholm Højskole.
A side from long-term projects and personal work, Andreas Haubjerg do assignment in editorial documentary and portraiture.
